Edu-Series: When “normal” isn’t enough: Uncovering hearing difficulties

This will help practitioners to understand and differentiate hidden hearing loss and subclinical hearing loss and their related terminology; gain insight into the mechanisms such as cochlear synaptopathy and auditory nerve dysfunction; explore symptoms and challenges in individuals with normal audiograms; discuss communication and quality-of-life implications; evaluate the limitations of standard audiometric testing; and identify additional audiological measures for assessment.
